Update
Hermes have advised us that they are carrying out emergency maintenance today between 2 - 3pm.

Due to some on-going IT issues with the QAS Address Lookup Service, Hermes IT will be performing emergency maintenance work on a server hosted in Hamburg.

During this period there may be a 15 minute outage window.

Following this morning's issues with Hermes, they have advised the following:

- We have a further QAS outage affecting clients ability to print labels and have applied the known solution of restarting QAS to restore service.

- We will move on to the next stage of the recovery plan which is to increase the memory on the virtual server which hosts QAS. This will require an outage which will be planned in for a quieter time tomorrow.

- Apologies for the disruption and be assured we’re doing everything we can with our partners in Hermes Germany IT to resolve this issue.
